In partnership with CWD, the City of Red Oak Public Works Department is hosting its annual Trash-off
event at Oaks Church (777 South I-35) on October 11 from 7:30 am - 10:30 am.
THIS EVENT IS FOR RED OAK RESIDENTS ONLY! Proof of residency is required in order to participate
in the event. Please bring your driver's license and water/utility bill with you.
The following items will be accepted at this event:
- Bulk Trash Items - Extra residential trash, household appliances, furniture, mattresses,
and other large household items will be accepted for disposal.
- Brush - Wood and brush will be accepted.
- Tires - Eligible items are tires from standard passenger vehicles, SUVs, lawnmowers,
tractors, and 4-wheelers. NO RIMS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
- Automotive Batteries
- Electronic Waste - We accept computers, monitors (cathode ray tubes), televisions,
printers, scanners, copiers, radios, CD players, VCRs, and telephones (cellular, cordless,
and wireless).
- Paper Shredding - Items such as confidential documents, bank statements, old bills,
and magazines can be safely shredded during this event. Please remove staples, paper clips,
rubberbands, etc., before shredding
